The hotel/apartment provider must refund you - if they don't then you can indeed ask your card company to make a chargeback or a s75 claim - you just may need to be very clear to them about the circumstances. Just checking - this wasn't via Paypal or anything similar?

No it was just on my cc.I have raised a dispute with them so i'll see what happens.
