Help Inghams not offering refunds

We flew to France on March 14th to val d’Isere for a ski holiday. On the night of arrival France closed all non essential business which included hotels and ski lifts. Now we are home inghams won’t refund us for our cancelled holiday, we couldn’t cancel before our trip as no one was advising anyone not to travel to France even though the other countries Austria Norway Andorra had closed its ski resorts on the Friday. Crystal ski have offered refunds to anyone who travelled with them on the 14th March but not the company we used inghams. Advice from them is to use our travel insurance which doesn’t seem right... anyone else in the same boat and need help please

    Same here, we were due out March 29 but they cancelled and have only offered vouchers or rebooking for next season. I have said I want a full refund and they said to put it in writing so they can consider it, which I have.
    I have also asked my credit card provider to do a section 75 dispute and submitted a travel insurance claim.
