Hi. Having some trouble with Ryan Air. Ten of us booked to go to Italy 13th-15th March. One person offered to book for all of us. So there is only one email address and one booking reference for the whole group.
We’ve all tried to get a refund, but Ryan Air are saying that as they’ve already refunded one person against the email/booking reference, they won’t refund the rest of us; as far as they’re concerned, that booking reference has been dealt with.
They also won’t refund those that paid to have a suitcase.
We started the process after 10th March- when the foreign office made Italy a no-go area- so before the trip should have taken place.
What’s our best next step?
We’re losing over £100 each.
Thanks

Maybe I'm not reading this correctly, but it sounds as if your problem is not with RyanAir but with the person who received the refund.0

I agree with Nick C (that's how I read your post too). What reason have Ryanair given for not refunding for hold luggage?0

Ryanair have only refunded the person that made the booking. They won’t refund the other nine of us as they are saying that the booking reference our flights are under has now been dealt with. The person in question is going to split the refund between us all. It’s £13 each!I don’t know why they won’t refund for luggage. It’s all very frustrating.0

If one person made the booking, the payment for all 10 pax should have been made under that booking and the refund should be for all 10 pax.2

If you are 100% sure that Ryanair have only issued a refund for one pax, then the person who booked the flights needs to talk to Ryanair. It sounds like a misunderstanding.Or did the person who made the booking only request a refund for him/her?1
