I’ve finished April with a spend of £193.80 out of a budget of £200 so pleased with that.  Already spent some of May’s budget as bought pet food and household/cleaning/toiletries early.  The infrequent trips to the bigger supermarket meant that when I was there last time I got in supplies for the next month.

I'm declaring for April at a sheepish £417.19/£250.
I won't make any excuses (apart from an extra person, no supermarket deliveries, no car, more separate eating and too many random, just in case purchases) and will try to do better in May.
Well done to everybody, this was definitely a more challenging than usual challenge!
Stay safe and see you over in May.

August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

i think most of us spent more than usual/planned simply because we had no idea if we'll be able to continue to get what we need/want in the coming weeks, extra faces to feed and higher prices.  Hopefully, May will be better.  :)

I am declaring for April at £127.36/£130.96.

I’m actually surprised that we managed to stay within budget!  If you’d asked me two weeks ago, I’d have predicted us going £20 over.  The remaining £3.60 will roll forward to May, where I’ll spill the beans about my latest shop.

Hello everyone!  I'll be catching up on the thread over the next couple of days... I've been really quite unwell with Covid-19 (coronavirus) for over 2 weeks and ended up in hospital for 8 nights.  I came home yesterday and I'm still pretty knocked out to be honest, so I'll catch up slowly!  Hope you are all doing very well and staying healthy :)
Just catching up on the thread after an extremely busy April with a sudden rush client project. @elsiepac and @Doom_and_Gloom I’m sorry to hear you’ve both been ill! This has been felling the best if us.

Oops, it appears that i have mislaid a receipt from April, and yes it is now July. I was using a bag today that i normally only carry now and again and it was there. After cross referencing it appears i havent accounted for it  :/.
