I used OnepoundDD  they successfully kept me updated by email on a few occasions which were short term DD,s so were stopped once they served purpose.
This was over a year or two ago

I fall into the camp of M Saving E, rather than M Spending E …. so I use the online Easy Access PO Savings accounts for DD's to fill a couple of Banks' bonus conditions. It's easy to open them, and I really haven't had any trouble getting money out. Granted it can be slightly more work and a little slower than other banks, but overall no big deal.
