UKPC PCN (tried to appeal but website says unable to find parking charge)

Hi I recieved a ticket at Broadwalk shopping centre and returned to a PCN stock at my window. I have read the newbie information and now want to appeal. I went on the website and put the details on the PCN but site says it cant be found. I dont want to post because I want to wait for the 26 days advised before appealing. I have tried different variations of numbers eg tried 6 or 8 or 0 but the site still rejects them all. I'm not sure what to do now.
Can anyone help? What other choice do I have apart from posting my appeal? And do I still need to wait the 26days if posting is my only option?
Thanks

Heard that before about UKPC,  their website is just as inept as UKPC itself.

Go to the NEWBIES thread and read that first

    UKPC are fraudsters, read this,

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11858473/Parking-firm-UKPC-admits-faking-tickets-to-fine-drivers.html

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Try again in a few days time. If it isn't showing by the time you approach say day 24, complain to the BPA.

Have they got your vehicle's VRM absolutely correct on the ticket they stuck to your windscreen?  Check it carefully.

Has it got a 1 that you could try putting in as ''I'' as well as either combination of ''O'' or ''0'' and also try with a gap and without a gap, in the VRM.

Hi Coupon-mad, I have tried all the combinations on PCN and my VRM still no luck. The pcn was issued on the 6th of March.

OK, what I have done in that case, is post a keeper appeal on day 22, with the PCN number and VRN written by hand on the top and set out in standard formal letter format with your address top right, name at the bottom, etc.

Go to the PO Box and get proof of posting (free) and staple that receipt to a copy of your letter and keep it in case you later don't get a POPLA code and have to complain to the BPA.
