Do you think they’ll pull the offer if they credit check? We had so a hassle getting a mortgage in the first place!Jen271626 said:
Nightmare, hope they dont do a credit check and things go well for you._AandL_ said:
I was expecting them to run a final check. I’m so worried that we’ll lose our offer before completion. We may even have to extend so there’ll definitely be a credit check. I hope he hasn’t screwed it up for us!Foreverwaiting123 said:
My MA said don’t do that cos bluestone sometimes run a final credit check before the release the money. I’ve had to increase my deposit so chances are I’ll have to use my cards to cover some expenses like moving and the new furniture I need but not until the keys are in my hand! Anyone had any experience with this?0 -
We both had the adverse. He thought it would be ok because it’s just a small amount 🤷♀️Foreverwaiting123 said:@_AandL_ I imagine he’s in the dog house now. What was he thinking ? Was the previous adverse credit his? Hope things still go ahead for you as planned. Got everything crossed for you1 -
I know it’s a case of how long is a piece of string but how long does it usually take from offer to completion if all searches are back. Still waiting for our offer to come through the post0

It’s all based on affordability so if it’s a small amount then you should be okay. If they do a credit check they might ask your MA what the new credit is. You’ll probably be fine and it will all go through no problems but maybe make your MA aware just in case._AandL_ said:

Bluestone need 5 working days to release funds, u need to do a pre completion phone call with them, and we needed to sign a new deeds form as bluestones have changed it.But every case is different so I suppose it really is just a waiting game2 -

Well they’re now working fully packaged cases from the 21st and they’re processing within 12 days now instead of the 13 so it’s a good sign I hope0
