Franchises are usually awarded on a geographic basis and I don't think that is illegal. Not sure about GDPR aspect but I suspect there will be something in the franchisor's legal stuff that allows for the protection of the franchisees' territories by data sharing. As was suggested, above, you might be better off selling the unit you've got and moving to a better value for money product, if you are making a large enough upgrade.

Yes I see where you are coming from but GDPR is all about the customer owning their own data and sharing data across companies is a clear breach unless the customer expressly consents to it5KW solar, Lux 3.8KW inverter, Uhome 2400 LPF x 6, SOLIC 200 immerser diverter, Leaf 62Kwh, MG ZSev, Ohme home charger, Zappi v2.1, Import: Octopus intelligent ; Export: Octopus Energy Export, 15KW biomass pellet boiler - Windhager., Home Assistant (newbie)0

Tbh I think the idea that your installer wouldn't compete is not exactly what the issue will be... in my opinion.
Greenbeard, homeswitch, think renewables, gigabiz and pvpro are all the same company owned by Michael and Jake.
These guys are the only ones bringing in the uhome batteries.
So when you ask your installer for more uhome batteries, they only have one place to go.
Might be worth messaging one of the other guys that has uhome and either you sell them yours and buy pylontech, or you buy there's and let them buy pylontech.

Something wrong with my Lux data today... no way my PV has generated 3.3 kWh. @7 am, and I certainly have not used 5.1 kWh. Maybe its just my system as my sons data looks "normal"

Perhaps your WiFi was down?
I was doing a bit of rewiring over last couple of days, 1 circuit off yesterday killed WiFi, sogen figures were rubbish, and today other circuit off which killed power to the inverters

In the situation you describe then yes BUT I can see no reason why my generation and usage are much HIGHER than realty, certainly if connection lost I accept they would be lower3.995kWP SSW facing. Commissioned 7 July 2011. 24 degree pitch (£3.36 /W).

I've just realised that for the last few months, my batteries have took no more than 2kw of charge at any one time from solar.
We have been exporting, but always at full by end of day, so never noticed.
I'm assuming it's coincided with the app simplification, and obviously in Jan and Feb there wasn't that much solar.
I'd set my mains charging at 55% so I believe it's took that figure for solar too.
I've changed it to 100%, so I guess I'll see tomorrow.
