Already disabled it. Never needed it before Lux added this option so doubt I ever will.

.....All that about  Cal is news to me!

    However...

Mine seems to be behaving itself now. Cycling around discharge/charge (that has happened since I posted about issues a couple of weeks ago) has been stopped after disabling forced discharge. I had probably I advertantly set a value at some recent stage - I find the help info poor on the web portal and the app currently awful in control/settings respects.

Sofar the original 'no discharge' issue midnight to 5am seems to be OK now.

I cannot help but think too that there are sw issues somewhere.

Infinity support have been very helpful with ideas ( in conjunction with Lux China) ranging  from faulty mains supply, CT location, zero power draw by property ( owing to secondary PV generation not passing through Lux PV CT clamp) but all those diagnoses were not tha cause ( after testing them).

So, actual cause is unknown to me.
Not very satisfactory but as long as it works for now. Would be great to get a definitive 'how to do settings' document and info promulgated when updates are pushed out.

I'm seeing similar problems, but probably not the same. This looks like a s/w bug.
    ...
Last night it charged 11.30pm to 00.30, despite a/c charging being off, then it was taking from the grid until 05.30 but not charging or discharging. The battery has way more charge than I've set as a target. It has always behaved as expected until now.
There is obviously a bug where it is picking up the wrong parameters under some conditions.
I set the a/c charge to on, then back to off and all is now OK. I doubt it is calibration needing to charge to 100% as it has been charging to 100% on solar frequently.

I haven't had the issues you have been describing,  however, the 2 lux have been running fine for a long time, and yet somewhere in early March one lux stopped seeing any generation,  I thought wiring or ct clamp so swapped and checked etc, then contacted info at lux and they said there was a problem with my firmware on that inverter only being partially loaded.... hmmm

They then updated both firmware and then I had my 2 inverters averaging generation  (their cts are on two different arrays) which lux initially denied, and then a couple of weeks later admitted, and said its the new firmware, so I asked to go back to old firmware,  and all has been fine the last couple of weeks.

I only mention as its eyebrow raising to have these *random* things happen in a similar time period for users who have had these same inverters for several years

    Quite!

Mine has been fine now for a few weeks. Not spoken directly with Lux but Innovitive Innovations have  been very 'helpful ' but haven't really come up with anything that has been definite, provable and repeatable and have failed to call me back a couple of times and the final promise to tell me what has gone on, Mick, has not materialised.

The Inverter now  behaves as it should.

Hopefully II will read this thread and give better support as the country's dealer.
I do not like giving less than good feedback to fellow engineers and, despite being very pleasant to deal with, support could have  been a lot  better.

Is there anyone who can give a credible explanation as to what Priory Charge is?
Also, in the app under AC charge settings, should AC charge power really be in kW, rather than %?

Charge priority basically means charge batteries from PV during the period you set. Also batteries will not discharge during the period of charge priority.
In terms of AC charge power, your max is 3.6kw assuming you have a 3.6kw ACS, so your % is worked from 3.6kw. I agree it would be better to just use a KW figure......

Charge priority: Thanks. That's almost the opposite of what I want to do. I'm running almost completely on PV, but when there is a cloudy day and I come out of daylight with little battery, I'd like to top up from AC overnight. But, if I set to charge to (say) 50% from 23.30 to 05.30, then it will run from mains during that period every night (6 hours) even when the battery level is still over 80%. I need a function that charges to 50% between 23.30 and 05.30, but only triggers if the battery falls below (say) 50% otherwise it continues to run on battery.

AC charge power: my bad explanation, I'll try again: in the app:
Charge Settings > AC Charge Power(kW)
It says kW, but it looks to me to be %. Is the app just wrong?

I don't think there is a function that allows you to do that, other than manual intervention. Do you have SEG export agreement in place ?
Regards the AC charge power, it is a %.

No, I don't. I'm on the original FIT, so being paid well for what I generate. I'm convinced that I'd make even more by getting a 15p SEG and foregoing the 'assumed export' then charging to 100% every night and just exporting everything else. However, the 'assumed export' is index linked and guaranteed for another 12 years, which the SEG (I assume) isn't. Comments?
