That was your opportunity to say something.2 -
And the lesson of the story is "don't put swear words in an email to the CEO.
None of the wetherspoons near me have TVs or show sport.

That is their process apparently. There is always a 'duty manager' in charge in Wetherspoons.I've seen people make various complaints about food both at the table and at the till. They have generally been refunded (apart from those people who think it clever to eat half their meal then complain), had a meal replacement or food reheated.Robert19D said:Im not exactly one to complain in front of other guests and embarass the staff. I'm surprised you haven't got your own parking space and chair.Read my thread properly. I said I waited 3 weeks after filing the complaint for them to resolve it and satisfy me. Today I lost my patience and told them to get a f-ing move on with my case. And they suddenly replied 2 hours later saying sorry we wont accept bad language and closed my case!
I did try to read your thread properly, it's just that my eyes were a bit blurry through the tears.
Anyway, you'll be back there soon enough.0 -

From their website "Do you show sport? On occasions, pubs may show major sporting events, with or without sound. Please contact the pub you wish to visit for confirmation of any events planned to be shown. Most of our pubs have screens showing the news, usually with subtitles."0
