Wetherspoons Complaint

Options
Had a terrible experience 3 weeks ago. Cold food, had a side door that they refused to lock and I was freezing to death and nose dripping, staff forced us to watch bbc news on the tv when six nations was on.

Filed a complaint via their website the same day. Their response 7 days later was rude & arrogant. Spoke to head office, they updated my case. 14 days later and no response.

Lost my patience, emailed the ceo today. He then forwarded my email that I sent to him, to head office. Head office closed my case and said it will not be reopened just because I used the F word for having to wait 3 weeks without a resolution email.

Can I visa dispute for a full refund? I dont want to pay for my bad experience and cold meal.

I complained to the waiter but he never came back to me after he went to go see the manager. The place was completely full so no I couldnt move tables. I had already paid for the food and I mentioned to the waiter I was freezing to death. Yes it was being used a lot. But nobody said they couldnt have heaters to satisfy cold guests. Their official complaints procedure is via their website, not causing a scene at the till!

The time to complain is at the time, not after. So you ate the food then?

You went to Wetherspoons, had bad food, were "forced" to watch something informative instead of sport and then swore at them in your complaint?

You sound made for each other.  I'm surprised you haven't got your own parking space and chair.

Read my thread properly. I said I waited 3 weeks after filing the complaint for them to resolve it and satisfy me. Today I lost my patience and told them to get a f-ing move on with my case. And they suddenly replied 2 hours later saying sorry we wont accept bad language and closed my case!

The pub manager wasnt available & was told to file a complaint through the website. That is their process apparently.

Im not exactly one to complain in front of other guests and embarass the staff. Obviously it seems all you lot are. However thats my reasoning for filing the complaint online albeit wasnt happy with my food or experience.
