Yea we just want a confirmed date at this stage even if they say a date in April that be fine but all we keep getting is time scales off them.
what more annoying is the fact they added a condition after we signed2024 wins: *must start comping again!*1 -

hi all just an update
Seller confirmed completion date of the 18th March. So got our funds in order etc for this day surprise the seller wasn't ready to move as his funds haven't been issued for his new house. It is now the 23rd and still no movement we keep getting told it will be tomorrow. So Friday we were told it will be today the 23rd but nope still nothing. Seller and his solicitor saying they are chasing to get funds sent. We were able to have our funds within 2 days its over a week and they still dont have theirs according to them. i guess nothing i can do but just wait?0 -
I've read the thread but nowhere (unless I've missed it) do you say if you are Exchanging & Completing on the same day or not.Seller confirmed completion date of the 18th March. So this is in the contract, and Contracts have been Exchanged? If so, you can demand all costs you have incurred eg removal company (if they were booked and you had to pay them); hotel (if you had nowhere else to live); pay (if you took time off work); etc etcOf course, if you had not Exchanged, then the statement above is not strictly (or legally) true....

Yes i think your right i may have to start been more direct. They wont move until they have their fund to move into their build as they want to sell and purchase on the same day0 -
Selling and purchasing on the same day is the norm! I have done it several times. Be patient. You are experiencing the normal stress of house buying.0

Yes i think your right i may have to start been more direct. They wont move until they have their fund to move into their build as they want to sell and purchase on the same dayIf you've exchanged contracts your conveyancer should be serving a 'Notice To Complete' on the seller, and claiming your costs. But why are you not demanding to know from your conveyancer what to do?See also this thread and the links within it:
