Debit Card deposits were available for withdrawal the next day, and withdrawals happened on the same day, so you could get your money back from a Debit Card deposit in under 24 hours. (And it looked just like a normal purchase in Sainsbury's, which also had advantages.)
Didn't Ratesetter close down? they sent all my deposit money with accrued interest back and cannot put any new money, so basically the account is closed down.
Yeah, hence the use of past tense 'could'0 -

Can you claim the switching bonus on a new Reward account if you already hold a Reward account? I've never claimed a switching bonus from Halifax before.0 -

Just thinking this might be an easy £100 for switching my soon-to-be-defunct M&S current account, as the bonus doesn't seem to require any DDs or SOs on the source account - unless I've missed something?0 -

Rewards account doesnt require DD or SO, but need to spend £500 on your debit card or keep £5000 in your account each day of the month and you can choose the monthly reward (there are 4 in total) which will be fixed for 1 year (you can change in following year). All info in below link. When you apply for the account, you will be asked to switch and also select your reward at the end.Just to be aware of, I got some technical error when I applied for the first time through my online banking then after few hours I tried again on another browser and worked fine. This is very random and dont think anything is wrong with your applciation, just try after few hours or next day and try on different browser.

funkycredit said:Nope. Not with LBG - I've got 7 bank accounts across the group and had a single hard search - made when I originally opened my first Hfx Rewards act.0
