My last toe back in the water was when FTSE All Share hit 27% down from peak. I'm not intending to do anything more now until around 35% down, which is my next top up level, whether that takes a day, days, or weeks. IMHO we have a long way to go, with plenty of market shocks to come yet!

Calling it now. . . 15% down across the board tomorrow
Yes! I love bold predictions and I don’t think you’ll be far wide of the mark. There is a lot more pain to come that’s for sure.

US futures well down overnight ,looks like 1000 points, so no rally in Europe. I hope this isn't a crash but its not looking good is it.

FTSE100 in free fall again now down 7.5%
I sense we are a LONG way from the bottom.
Just looking back and comparing this to the 2008 crash. the stark thing is just how fast it has fallen this time, I have not seen such a quick fall ever.

Do those who thought buying in when the FTSE100 dips below 5000 still think this is a good idea? Or are they setting their sights on a lower value now?

What if its 60-70% down in the next few months.? The likes of the Dow is back to late 2018 levels but yes well over 25% down. I'm thinking about peoples jobs as well as their health .

Pretty difficult to call an entry price at the moment. No one knows how long this will last, how many regions it'll impact, who will go bankrupt and who won't.
The worry is that the US healthcare system is dire and the US government prefers back-slapping to actual governance. The US is likely to sell off the hardest and for the past decade global markets have taken their steer from the US.
Hold onto your cash a little bit longer for me, I expect another 15-30% to come off prices, with a guess that prices will bottom out in late April when the last person is aware of how bad this will be and the media is at the peak of panic.
