Can anyone recommend a good tasting supermarket baked bean, own brand beans the ones that are usually 4 for £1,it will be interesting to see if one supermarket seems to be the best.
I've decided to stock pile tinned products just in case there are any food shortages

Branston Beans for me, £1.50 for 4 in B&M! We used to get Aldi's own brand, but we had a few tins where the quality was poor, and the beans were quite hard.Best competition wins:

I like Waitrose own brand. They're 4 for £1.10 but the tins are a little bit smaller than average.3

Surely its personal choice?
My beans of choice are Branston, mum only likes Heinz. I used to quite like Sainsbury's own brand3 -
Yes stockpiling is a sure way to start a shortage.2

I'm not a fan of baked beans, but it seems to me the branded ones are nowhere near the pauper's food they once were.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.1 -

Another vote for Waitrose own brand.
I've not had them in a long time so they may have changed but I liked Sainsbury's own brand as well.
