Don't know, how about phoning and asking?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
That’s generally something they say to indicate it’s a cash-buy only. I asked about one before which had a hint like that and it turned out there was unremedied subsidence in the back of the house so cash buy only. Is it priced cheaper than you’d expect?3

No vehicle access. Pedestrian access only via a hole in the high street wall.
Railway in the back garden.2 -
They'll probably advise you not to watch TV in the house.

I very much doubt it's something like a lease issue or subsidence. The EA would just state that in the listing.
FWIW, I saw a similar comment in an EA's listing a few years ago. In that case, the reason was that an estranged husband had hired some 'thugs' to murder his wife in the house in question, for life insurance money. Her body lay in the house undiscovered for a week or two.
In that case, when contacted, the EA was actually suggesting to potential buyers that the house should be demolished, and rebuilt. Which is what eventually happened.
But obviously, there could be less dramatic reasons. (But I doubt it's something good.)1 -
That's interesting--were they suggesting the new occupiers might be in danger from the murderers, or was it more of a bad vibes situation? (Or maybe a bad smell from the body?)eddddy said:MessedUp said:Please be advised there is something we need to discuss with you before you view this property.
