  • As off yesterday, I was on 12/20.  Only budgeted grocery spends this past weekend - even that was difficult due to empty shelves everywhere!  On the upside, my son's university has decided that they will teach remotely so I'll get him home sooner rather than later  :)

I  went  to  get  my  weekly  groceries  from my  shopping list   on  way home from work  this  morning  couldn't get half the items on my list  so may try  again tomorrow or modify  my  mealplans...so I think the no spend  days  may  become  low  spend  days instead ..strange  times …..
Very strange times :( Re bog roll I actually keep a small stockpile of it anyway ... not sure why, I'm always paranoid I'm going to forget to buy it and then find I haven't got any in the middle of the night, I think. But when I say I stockpile it I haven't joined in the more recent rush at supermarkets to grab it off the shelves, and I find it weird that people would do that. Also, why are people panic-buying Panadol, but not any of the other painkillers? Panadol won't help with the virus. It's quite strange.

Jammy dodger, me too re baking bread, I make my own sourdough, which I love. :) Would love to hear how the soda bread turns out! Bread and soup, there is nothing finer. :)
