I've been saying the same. I really thought that competitions was the second biggest section of the forums, and that things would be fixed pretty quick. Its been a long time, less is being posted and still I'm getting RSI from having to open every thread.  This cant go on for me much longer. I simply don't have the time. I also subscribe to a magazine and post the answer here,  at my expense. I dont have time to search all over for any competitions so this was like my giving back. Since the move I haven't even made it to mag daily's or take a break thread and similar. May as well save my money and my RSI ridden shoulders the hassle.

It would be nice if we can get an update on the forum problems and the time expected to fix them (or not) before everyone leaves.

If you used to be indecisive and hover over a thread title for further info - then not anymore you either open it or not.
Threads remain the same shade regardless of whether you have seen them or not - surely you like the neatness of that
Search is now cumbersome and not working properly but the thought was there - and it can save time if you don't search for dupes anymore
You cannot just use "quote" for text from elsewhere or simply put in an e-mail address in a post,  but you can just drag an image into a post which was presumably very high on everyone's list of improvements.

Well I've also been patient and wanted to give MSE a chance to get back the basic functionality needed, but alas, like many of the compers that have left I've now stuck a fork in MSE and moved to Loquax. I tried Competitions Database but find it bloated and messy with too many ads on screen, Loquax on the other hand has all the functionality that MSE is desperately needing and is quick to navigate. Only problem with that site is not as many comps get posted there as here and answers to comp questions are usually not posted by the OP's. But despite all that, it is a much easier site to use and better than what MSE has become. I am gradually migrating my MSE bookmarks to their equivalent, but I will from time to time check on any progress here. But for now it's adios from me too.

i don't often comment on these things now but get a feeling you may be right as comps board has always been extra work for the techies/forums with all the added buttons/etc

OMG I am so fed up with having to click on every single new comp!  It has been a month - how many more months do we have to wait?

I wish they'd just tell us if that's the case. 'sod off compers' is actually better than having people wasting their time for weeks if we're not wanted

MSE comps section is never promoted in the weekly newsletter these days,

I will give this forum a few more months, Things need to change quickly. I too am fed up of having to open each topic up. I wish we could tick and cross and hoover over the title.
