I can't be the only one who's popping back less and less often now. Compared with other competition sites this one is now simply non-functional. Compers like an efficient system to comp by, something almost akin to a time and motion exercise! Sadly this no longer possible here.

I too am reaching the end of my tether with this site. I have lost faith that it will become a functional and workable competition forum anymore. On the plus side my house is the cleanest its been in a long time and my dog is enjoying his extra long walks with all the free time i now have

This site has been a brilliant comping site for so long (thanks to the amazing people who post and the admin) and I have tried hard not to give up on it, but the search function is impossible. I comp as they are added to site but mop any I have missed by searching by end date, however if you search by end date it does not show you any of your bookmarks so I am back to opening all to see if I have entered. It has been almost a month and it feels like none of our issues have been sorted. Also there hardly seems to be any comps to enter on here any more (not sure if it is quiet everywhere)8

I agree, it almost feels like this was a stealth way to get rid of the Comps board as we're probably pretty demanding. I've been comping here on and off since 2006 and it's such a shame...Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20109

Must admit I have more or less stopped comping now. I mainly do some social media ones with friends and the Mag Dailies. I pop back in to have a quick chat in the Inn but thats about it.TBH I havent won much over the last few years so it has been the final straw.Hope it improves for everyoneMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I've stopped using most of it as it's time-consuming to do the simplest of tasks.5

Me too, wasn't doing much anyway, but I really can't be bothered with the new site anymore. Hate it2

I agree have been here for a long time and it's no longer useable for most compers, compared to places like loquax, comp database etc. And before the few jump in with 'it's coming' 'be patient' etc, I feel no loyalty to this forum anymore and am not missing hundreds of comps while i sit and wait for people to add basic functions that any junior school pupil could code. We have been patient. I have no idea whose bright idea it was to move a whole forum over before ensuring everything was working and that there would be limited confusion for people but they did. Also very few comps being added here anymore and if they are, they are hiding behind a sand dune. Lots have left. Some of whom have been posting comps here for a very long time. Luckily for us there are many other sources out there so gl everyoneAugust-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Look at all the things that have been done
They have removed the Thanks button and replaced it with a Comp-liment one especially for competitions time - surely something that every one here is grateful for even if the replacement has almost non of the functionality of before?
Instead of the option to tick and/or cross a competition the options are now spelled out as entered or skipped, although you cannot use both and they don't show up on search and you are not able to use them from the index they are spelled out instead of just being a symbol, what a magnificent change for the better.
You can no longer sort the threads - think of how much time that can save if you enter less.
If you used to be indecisive and hover over a thread title for further info - then not anymore you either open it or not.
Threads remain the same shade regardless of whether you have seen them or not - surely you like the neatness of that
Search is now cumbersome and not working properly but the thought was there - and it can save time if you don't search for dupes anymore
You cannot just use "quote" for text from elsewhere or simply put in an e-mail address in a post, but you can just drag an image into a post which was presumably very high on everyone's list of improvements.18 -
Very well put mjm3346 and lets not forget that it has taken them a whole month to make these updates. even if by some miracle they get some of the problems sorted (in a few months or so) I doubt very much if this site will be as amazing for compers as it has previously been. (does anyone else want to cry when they think of that lovely green screen and all the fab functions we had) : (9
