Good morning all
Dry here at the moment but not set to last, unfortunately.
DH back at hospital today to discuss what happens next. He's fairly sanguine at the momet. His biggest worry is where to park !! I must confess, parking is an absolute nightmare, esp mid afternoon with all clinics running, and visitors to the wards too. Perhaps everyone will stay away with fears of coronavirus!
Red Ruby, I hope your visit goes well and the outcome is positive.
Gefs. Busy times. Let's hope it is over quickly and does not bring too much stress for you and DM. I take my hat off to you for your calm determination to carry on.
Nelski, looks like more moonwalking then. Autocorrect tried to change that to footballing!! Perhaps you could try that next!
Molly 41, Ouch, sounds uncomfortable. Have a restful day
Happy Friday all.15 -

Morning all
Dolly walked and fed now having a cuppa to warm up just drizzle here but bitterly cold
I have managed to get a cold so am sneezing and sniffling like a good un . i have a meeting tomorrow as i am going to volunteer at the new community fridge . I keep watching the news and worrying re DD2's wedding as her house move and new job are dependent on it at the moment my mum has said she won't be going as she is too worried but i have told her she can change her mind up until the day before . Poor DD2 I dont know how to support her without causing more worry or upset by mentioning it.
I need to empty the car of the bags of stones and pop to costco and Aldi for the weekend shop as our local roads are all closed for major roadworks and it cuts the village off. Dinner tonight is sausage n mash
Ruby I will be thinking of you today x
Nels Keep up the moonwalking
Cherry Bakewell pleased to meet you x
Molly Hope you feel better after your procedure yesterday
I know there are others i should mention but I am struggling with the new layout and short pages used to be so easy to scroll down and see all the posts so to all those struggling or looking after loved ones hugs and extra strength to you . Have a great day whatever you are up to stay safe and warm x

Redruby, I'll be thinking of you as well, hopefully all our positive vibes will help. Happycas, and for you too.
Bella, I find the short pages very irritating but I can't find the feature to lengthen them that used to be on the old forum. Hester, I'm glad you're posting again, I thought you'd disappeared like JackieO and Speky.
I'm keeping everything crossed for Brian today. He had a final interview at the Beeb yesterday and was told he'd hear today. He's been off work since August although part of that has been choice because they wanted him to be there for Esben's early weeks. They've been living on his payoff but are now starting to use savings so he needs to find something soon.
Steve finished painting our bedroom walls today, just the last of the woodwork today and then everything can go back. I want to take stuff to the CS today and also visit the tip. I'd also like to take a run to Dunelm to see if they've got any curtains I like before I go down the made to measure route.

Wanted to add my best wishes to RR too - I hope all goes well.I've been out to collect a wee parcel, been to the tip, M&S and B&Q. DM fed and watered so now I'm having my breakfast before Alan arrives to move stuff.Late yesterday a big parcel arrived (DHL) from my fabulous cousin in Berlin. I'd asked for some German mustard and a particular type of chocolate, I think I could open a shop with what he sent! 😂😂 At least I've got something to calm me when times get stressful.13

Thinking about you today RR.
Nasty morning, we have to go to town for the dentist yet again!! I will be glad when its over, its hissing down just now, have to be glad its not snow!! Its our wedding anniversary, the date has fallen on the actual day, Friday, we were married with just 2 witnesses and had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast with Champers for our wedding breakfast, then went off to Harrogate to a NTS conference. We are pushing the boat out and going to Sainsbury in the town for lunch, their fish and chips are to die for!! Our big treat was the visit to see D++k and Angel on Wednesday.
I really dislike the new page, you start typing and then have to roll up to type more, it does not do it automatically anymore. I miss Specky and Jackie too.
So no supper tonight, we will have something on toast about 6pm.12 -
Good morning all, not that it is good
another sleety soaking for me and Ly1a although she was very stoic today and at least kept walking and had the reward of some frozen snow to nibble at on the park
