Worth remembering that currently the S&P500 has plunged to a level not seen since, er, October last year.......

We didn't have to wait long. Bravo.Deleted_User said:Anyone thinking that the world is ending after experiencing a mere correction needs to invest time and understand risks and asset allocation. What we are likely to see next is interest rate drops, Central Banks providing additional liquidity, bargain hunters jumping in and recovery of the market within a few months. It is also possible that Coronavirus will devastate world economies, cause revolutions and create long term bear markets. In the latter case portfolio performance is the least of your problems.1 -

Tesla needs to generate cash from it's large plant investment. To do so needs to sell cars in what was already a broad declining market even before the virus outbreak,0

IGG.L possibly 'crash proof' stock.
If you think punters are going to continue making trades.
I have it in my income portfolio.
IMHO etc,.One person caring about another represents life's greatest value.0 -
There is nothing 'crash proof' about it. In the last major crash 2007-9, it was at £4.27 on 26 Oct 2007 and had fallen to £1.66 by 20 November 2008. So that's 61.1% fall in less than 13 months. It then rebounded to the 280-290p range two months later, before hitting £1.66 again in late March 2009, shortly after the world 's major indexes had bottomed out and started to go back up again.Username999 said:IGG.L possibly 'crash proof' stock.

The threat of Coronavirus is still significant but the threat of Bernie/Warren has receded. Should help S&P500.0
