you would need to look at the terms and conditions of your booking and Norwegian laws (I am assuming there was no travel to Norway included in the package)
Did the company cancel the tour or did it go ahead but you were unable to get there to participate?

Norway imposed a 14 day quarantine, the trip was for 7 days, then the flight was cancelled so I couldn't get to the meeting point at the allotted time.
The flight was booked separately and they have refunded the cost quite promptly. (Nicely done KLM)

I would go back to your travel insurance as they are likely going to be the only option....you need to confirm that your flights and the tour were not booked as a package together and the tour was completely separate (whether an independent tour is covered will depend on your policy)

I'm shortly travelling to Spain for 1 night to sign some documents and then return the next day, I can't find out whether the test within 72 hours of my return to the UK needs to be done in Spain or whether a UK test just before I leave will suffice (I am double jabbed).  Any pointer towards where/how I can find this out will be gratefully received!
    Thanks

Yes that is fine - this is from Gov website

“Taking your test in the UK before travel

If you are returning to the UK within 3 days, you can use the result of a COVID-19 test that you take in the UKbefore you travel. You must use a private test provider for the test and not an NHS test.

The service on which you will arrive back in the UK must set off for the UK within 3 days of when you took the test. “

will under 18s who have not had any vacination have to self isolate for 10 days from 4th october if travelling back from the new rest of the world countries such as spain ? as i read on this mainsite
Children over the age of 10 will no longer be required to take a pre-departure home test if their parents are fully vaccinated, but all children over the age of four must continue to take the day 2 PCR test (like their parents) until it is formally announced when these tests can be instead done via the lateral flow method.

    so a little confused

Got fligths, hotels etc. booked for a trip to Tenerife with my girlfriend on 15th Dec for a week. Very worried about sudden changes and rise in cases. I stupidly booked non-refundable Wizz Air flights. Hotels and other little bits I'll be able to cancel. I'm looking into travel insurance that covers us in case things go pete tong. Any ideas which travel insurer will cover us for quarantine hotels in case Spain goes into the red list between now and the 23rd when I'm due to return?

No idea, but Wizz flights are refundable. At this stage you'll lose €83 per person one way plus any extras so it is likely not worth it, but it's what you contractually agreed to.

Not sure off hand, but Battleface is likely to be one of the most likely to offer this if anyone does. Read the terms very carefully as I'm not 100% sure, but as a company they're generally happy to cover just about anything.
