This isn't meant to sound rude, but have you seen how many thousands of posts, thanks and years of experience the most regular posters on this board have? Not to mention their numerous and increasing successes? We all start at zero on this forum, but you have a grand total of 116 posts; and appear to have contributed to no successful outcomes. Looking at your posts, you seem to be raising irrelevant questions that may deter people from fighting these spurious charges.
The regular posters don't need to justify themselves to you. You seem to think that this is a court; it's not, and you're not the judge here, even if you were one in real life.
It's known that PPCs read this board. The tone and irrelevance of your comments begs the question of whether you work directly for one, or at arm's-length.
Just to be clear, I read this board not because I've ever needed help on this subject, but for enjoyment of the principles of the well-established commentators; their writing style; and as a reminder that there are people who do the right thing without looking for financial reward; the mirror image of most incidents we see described on here. The tone and content of your questions creates the max contrast and shows the regulars in the best light possible.9 -

Beamer, credit where it's due! As one of the experts I was thinking of, it's difficult to plume yourself so thought this was one thing I could do to help. Thanks againbeamerguy said:5 -

The OP had not stated how long he had been out of the car park. You might have assumed that from the text, but I prefer to get the facts.
We haven't had a definitive answer of how a PPC can enforce their 'no return within x hours' rule
Not that I have seen anyway.
Councils have that on their parking signs, and yes I know this is not about council parking tickets.
But it would make it harder to argue its unfair for a PPC to do it, when councils do it.
If you don't know please just say so instead of shouting me down, or saying its been dealt with elsewhere without posting a link to where.Anybody with basic arithmetic skills can work out how long the OP had been out of the car park. All the necessary detail is in the OP. I'm not assuming anything - I actually read the post and the facts therein, Sherlock. This thread is not about "no return within x hours" so any answer to that question is irrelevant. It's about the PPC claiming that two separate visits were actually a single continuous visit. Read the thread again.Nobody is shouting you down or not posting a link to anything relevant. It is you that is going down an irrelevant path and not assisting the OP.

Ha! I posted the above before reading all the replies.Humdinger has expressed my views much more eloquently than I ever could!I do not often stray onto the parking board but I had use of it a year or so ago and was grateful for well grounded advice from Coupon-mad (apols if I got username wrong).People on here posting for the first time about parking charges don't need scaremongering or speculative comment. I'm grateful for the sensible responses I got.6

Your input is always welcome. coupon-mad continues to zap these scammers at a rate that the scammers never thought possible. My speciality is abuse of process and with experience on sitting in on a BWLegal case who provided total rubbish to the judge, a rep sent by BWLegal who was so clueless, the expression on his face alone lost his case, So, keep looking in, and enjoy watching these scammers get knock off their perch .... that depends if newbies listenManxman_in_exile said:Ha! Thanks. As I say I rarely stray onto this board but - this is a moneysaving site, and if you look at the volume of threads and posts on this board then you, Coupon-mad and all the other regular posters probably save people more money than all the other MSE boards put together. Keep up the good work.

I don't think so and I don't care. This board is about helping people fight parking charges.John464 said:Isn't there a contradiction there somewhere?
Why are you being so nit-picking and argumentative? Like some other people here (I think), I sort of suspect that you'd actually like to help. Maybe I'm crazy, but any chance you might give your head a shake, take a break, and then come back & apply your energies constructively?6
