They got back to me, it was @dvdccd but they haven't done their WS yet, still awaiting court date.Snakes_Belly said:Did you manage to obtain a WS from the other poster who had a similar experience in a PPS car park in Birmingham? That would be useful.
It is too much of a coincidence and a WS from the other poster could see this off.0 -
You don't need their full witness statement just a brief note stating that they had a similar experience of disappearing coins in a ticket machine on a car park managed by this company and signed as a WS is signed.Jimsnap said:

It says on the notice of trial date correspondence that all parties must send copies of their witness statements and documents to the court and to each other by the 29th of June. I'm just about to send mine but I've received nothing from PPL.
If PPL don't send me their WS etc does it make any difference? Do they need a WS? I guess not.0 -
They should have sent a WS to you by the due date.
I don't want to raise your hopes but several of the recent claims by PPS have discontinued. The fact that they have not yet sent a WS could be an indication of this.

That's what I was hoping, but there again, do they actually need to send one? It could only come from the parking attendant.Snakes_Belly said:They should have sent a WS to you by the due date.

I'm sending my WS today, just checking in case anyone has any last minute advice?
Maybe I should leave it 'til the very last minute, giving DCB less time to send me theirs, just in case they've forgotten?

It usually comes from their legals , acting on behalf of PPL , their client , at the last minute or late , not from any witness on the day , that would be rare , rarer than hens teeth !! 😁😁
Just do what you must do by the end of today , not worry about their incompetent legals , yours must be emailed to the court and their legals , if they have employed legals , like dcb legal ltd or b w legal ltd , so it doesn't usually go to PPL , the claimant
So ensure you email one bundle to both , using the cc function , court and the legals , no questions , just do !!
Let them sort out their own feet , not your problem , you must be beyond reproach here
As mentioned above , it's likely that you will receive a discontinuance , but not always , one or two get to a hearing , I do not believe that yours will , judging by your defence and witness statement , so it may be a relief but also an anti climax too
A win is a win , but not always justice , or vindication5 -
Redx is correct. Just make sure that your documentation is in order.

A heads-up in case BoP relevant - especially in view of para 9 of your WS:-You are exhibiting a document with "Judgment" in the title - no middle "e" as you have stated.3
