FuelPecker Discount Card

Just tried using my card for the first time at a Shell - wouldn’t accept it. Attendant got the message “transaction not allowed” on her screen. FAQs on fuelpecker site don’t answer this - under “where can I use my card” it just says “all Esso stations”. Many She’ll garages are franchises so I wonder if there’s only a handful in the UK that accept it?

Hi, i used my fuel pecker card for the first time last week at an Esso station in Wales, im still waiting for the transaction to go out of my bank, but, its accepted at all Shell and Esso stations here in the UK, it is not up to the attendant behind the till to decide if it is or isnt, its a nationwide scheme and you should insist they use it.  You also get 1p a litre on all fuels at all Shell stations too
