To whom? Why are you phoning? You need a paper trail.
You appear to be making heavy weather of this imo.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Yep.
Send cleared funds, copy of order, and state this is full and final resolution of the court order....
You require they notify the court befroe... that payment of the Order was made in full
If they fail to do so, you have already lodged a copy of this with the Court, and will hold Excel liable for any damage to credit rating. This is estimated in the tune of £5000 as you wil need a new mortgage / whatever in the next few years.0 -
just spoke to CCBC and their advise is to submit an N244 to have it set aside as Excel are refusing to accept payment. I'll give national debtline a call now to see what their advice is first, and then call Excel once more and escalate to a manager immediately0

There is no time to go through letters as this needs to be resolved by end of next week0 -
Then use email. CC staff are not la creme de la creme, I could tell you horrific stories about their incompetence. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

A set aside seems unlikely. Under what grounds would you give to set aside the judgement?0

Do not send anything recorded or signed for as, if they refuse delivery they then have absolute proof it wasn't delivered. Just use First Class from a post office with a FREE certificate of posting, this is then deemed delivered two days later. You could get a bankers draft or a cheque from your bank drawn on your account.welly_59 said:ELMS are refusing to take payment for anything less than £245, I have already tried that.
I could send them a postal order, recorded/signed for delivery. That still leaves me in the position of proving that there was actually postal order in the signed for mail though0 -
i will have to see if Halifax will write me a cheque/bankers draft, as i do not have a chequebook with themLe_Kirk said:
