    Will be looking with a much keener eye from now on.

    One of my children have also asked me if I'm a homeowner on the back of one of these ads.:eek:

    My 10 yr old has also asked me 'is that god' after watching one purporting to have great rates and will give anyone a loan.

    What chance do we have to combat excessive consumerism when our children are being so cynically targeted?

    And the ad companies and channel producers may try to justify it by saying that the ads are aimed at adults watching tv with their children; but come on....Who honestky watches children's tv properly? (apart from sponge bob)

    I watch cbeebies, and do boogie beebies etc., but in the afternoon, it's nickelodeon for the school children, while i get dinner ready.

    Can I also just add that shows aimed at children have some appalling content. Father of The Pride may be on quite late, but it'a an animation featuring animals, the girls desperately want to watch it, as many of their friends talk about it. But the content is extremely adult in places, and raises questions that young children shouldn't be asking for a long time yet.
    I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

    Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
