Nick Jr is terrible for adverts as it has so many American programmes that are only 22 mins or so long. They need to fill in a lot of gaps to stick to a half hourly schedule. They have some 'educational' fillers but a lot of ads. And they do get through - my 4 yo wanted to call Diamond car insurance because they said 'come on girls, give us a call'. "I'm a girl mummy, I need to call them".

Just popped in the room to do a couple of minutes channel surfing and this was what I found:

Nick Jnr : 10.56 - First Plus loans

Toonami: 10.57 - APS loans/remortgages
10.59 - Debtbuster

Tiny Pop: 10.58 - Debtbuster

POP: 10.59 Debtbuster

(Plus lots of adverts for insurance)

So, debtbuster had their advert running on 3 consecutive channels at about the same time!! And these were just the channels I checked, which are the channels for younger children so they must reckon all is 'skint' mums must be watching! Grrrrrrrrr

Carol Vordermann for First Plus loans at 10.55 on Nick Jr, after Angelina Ballerina and before Dora the Explorer. As this is the third consecutive ad break she has appeared in this morning, there appears to be a pattern forming...... :mad:

Not sure if I can take much more of this - Disney Playhouse or CBeebies for the rest of the day!

Jay Jay, its the same here, and for exactly the same reason that this thread is highlighting, I find cbeebies and CBBC more eductaional and informative and not full of ads like these and especially the ones for all the hyped up toys that the kids just want (pleeeeeease can i have that!) grrr!!

Yep! Carol was back at 11.25 on Nick Jr, straight after Yes Car Credit. Between Dora the Explorer and Blue's Clues. The 4yo has had enough of Nick Jr and has now asked for something else so research on this channel is ending for today!
