Hinckley and Rugby BS has published rates effective from 02/03/2023 - their regular saver 30 day notice remains at 4.75%
    Disappointing to hear.
To be honest comparing the Feb and new March rates sheets at HRBS, it's not just the RS that hasn't budged. Nothing has, apart from the closed issues linked or tracking the BoE rate. Looks like no changes apart from where they are obliged to.

Saffron BS Small Saver Issue 8 paying 4.65% now showing on money facts (as Issue 7, but pretty sure they mean 8)

I've just checked the Saffron BS Small Saver account info and it is still showing 4%. There is no issue number shown on the website.

The Saffron website still shows 4%, the saffron app will continue to show 4% unless a product switch is requested (fixed rate). The comparison site MoneyFacts is what is currently showing the increase - it usually pops up there a day or two before it does on the Saffron website. It is issue 8 - they stopped displaying it in the interest rate box, but currently they have issue 7 out, and therefore this new fixed rate should be issue 8.

Also the new Saffron RS is variable at last, so no more having to arrange a change of issue for each rate change in the future.

Good spot - I didn’t notice this. The only downside is that the rate will likely change if the base rate drops again

Indeed, but the account can be closed without penalty.

Are they enforcing the condition that only existing members can apply for this?

The very first page after clicking apply doesn't seem to list this as one of the conditions although their product description page did.
