Both the YBS postal/branch Chistmas 2023 Regular saver and a e-saver version are showing on their BOE rate change interest rates PDF https://www.ybs.co.uk/documents/productdata/YBM1607RC.pdf

I have logged in on YBS and had a "live chat" and asked the questions.
I have been told that the account is being "launched shortly" but hey didnt know timescale. It is "likely" to be both branch and online.
Hope that is of use to others.10 -

Has anyone drained their account / closed it yet? Is it worth keeping open?
I emptied it a while back when the interest rate became uncompetitive. Left £1 in it because interest rate is variable and could go up. My OH and I have never been lucky with any of these prize winning accounts.

Posted my Hinckley & Rugby 30 day notice regular saver application yesterday at 9am. At 2pm today they called me to confirm the account opening. Unbelievable.......after weeks of postal delays my H & R letter arrives in less than 17 hours.3

Yes I wondered when someone might comment on that but things are never quite as they seem.......my maths were very bad but it is actually far better than was initially thought. Now, follow the story......When posted at just after 9am on Monday, I had missed the single collection from that post box for that day. So, I assume the box was next emptied at 9am on the Tuesday, today. I received the call from H & R at exactly 2.14 pm today...... Just under 5.5hours......almost unbelievable !IanManc said:
If you posted it at 9am yesterday, for it to arrive "in less than 17 hours" it would have to have been delivered before 2 o'clock this morning.subjecttocontract said:Posted my Hinckley & Rugby 30 day notice regular saver application yesterday at 9am. I seriously doubt that it was.0 -
If a single 9am collection time is stated, this (generally) means that is the earliest that the box post box will be collected, usually by a postie while on their delivery round.subjecttocontract said:

As such, you would have made Mondays collection. The way RM operate now, you won't get a letter posted and delivered in such a short time.0 -
Still it's very impressive timing though and not something I was expecting. However it doesn't change my negative opinion of the postal strike.
