where_are_we said:Leeds Building Society - RS @1.95% - unhappy with their antiquated withdrawal system, I decided to close RS and only option was a cheque withdrawal. Few days later, inside Nationwide I joined the queue for depositing the cheque at the machine only to discover that there is a £2000 limit on depositing cheques by that method! Queue to cashiers was even longer. "C`est la vie"!Money is now inside Santander E Saver@2.75%.I am gradually going through RS`s and ditching those below 2.75%.6

Principality Building Society
I opened RSB Issue 29 in September at 2.80% fixed. I have now opened and funded Issue 30 at 3.25% fixed.
I will keep Issue 29 going at the moment as it just beats anything I can get on easy access.
As noted above, you can have one of each issue Principality's Regular Savers. You can close at any time without loss of interest.

I have been trying to pay my YBS Loyalty Reg eSaver by Halifax debitcard today, got declined. I iwll try that again later. I just wonder about other people experience paying your YBS RSA using halifax debitcard. Is there any change. Thanks

SaffronReceived email today that my account was increasing in interest. Shaking with anticipation I opened the pdf only to find their regular savers remain as before at 2.55% for RS 11 and 3% for small saver. Aaaa.....rgh.1

Saffron RS - 2.55% fixed - I have just withdrawn all but £100 in order to remain a voting member. I assume you can miss monthly payments with no penalty? I will cancel SO`s funding RS forthwith. They have a history of new RS`s with competitive interest rates that you can open on closure of old RS. Money gone to new Santander E Saver 2.75%.
