    With Virgin Money's Home Buying Coach Regular Saver accounts, if I close it before maturity do I still get any interest I'm due?

    Would be good to hear from people who know the answer from experience of closing an account in this way.

    I've checked the wording on the website and contacted VM direct but can't get a straight answer.

    Yes, of course. I closed all of mine last week. It was easy to do online.

    Thanks. I read the Ts & Cs and they're ambiguous on this.

    There's no penalty mentioned (e.g. lower interest rate) and there's no restriction on the number of withdrawals. Nothing ambiguous at all.

    Open the particular VMHBCRS account - "withdraw" to nominated account - choose the "close" account option - review the nominated account details - confirm. The balance plus this year`s interest added can be seen in "uncleared transactions". I`m not sure if you can see this figure before you confirm. Remember to cancel your monthly SO`s from your current account.

    Trying to apply online I'm getting 'Terms and Conditions not currently available, phone or try again later'. Can't carry on without. Anyone else getting this?
    I've actually printed them off via the link on here!

    Someone said they had the same problem about a week ago, I tried just after reading it and had no issues so it may just be a tech problem. Mind you, I’m still waiting for conformation that my account is open. All I can say is the application part was fine some days back.

    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    When applying for an account online does Stafford Railway post forms to customers and then ask for them to be returned signed or is it a genuine online application process?
    God save the King!
    I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.

    No, the application is made online, but manually opened, no hard copy application form needs to be returned to them.
