Thanks for this.

They increased the monthly maximum deposit from £50 to £150 a few days ago. It was mentioned somewhere on the MSE forum.

The listings on page one of this thread have it at £150, last edited on 19 March....

Call my cynical but I wonder if these sudden increase in rates is due to reduced deposits at the end of last month and start of this month

If you look towards the end of the article on the link below, the Santander person says Santander World customers, which has previously included 123 Lite account holders.

Currently there is no information directly from Santander. The media reports are saying 123 accounts, with no mention of 123 Lite accounts.

However, the Express has a quote from Hetal Parmar, the head of Banking and Savings at Santander UK, and this is the first and only time (currently) that 123 World has been mentioned.

I am pretty sure it will.

Only a few hours now until we see the Santander T&Cs for this account.

For some reason last time I had a 123 Lite( think I downgraded from the normal 123) they never enforced the monthly fee as I never claimed any of the % cash back and I never had any direct debits from the account. Have they clamped down on this? Worth me opening one maybe
