Descrabled said:NatWest/RBS Digital Regular SaverI've noticed that the terms for this account have now changed. Regularl savings amount now £1-£150 each month. Interest 3% to £1000, 0.25% £1001-£5000, 0.01% over £5000.Doesn't affect me as I'm all but £1000.
Does this mean we'll all be upping our monthly contribution to this and the RBS RS too?
And topping up this month's limit.
Or are we stuck on the previous T&Cs?0 -
I have just topped up and altered standing order no problem"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

NatWest/RBS Digital Regular Saver
I just asked NatWest on live chat and their response was "I have checked and this limit has been increased to £150.00 for all the users. So, you can also deposit a maximum of this amount in your account."3 -
Which as my post says I already have and increased standing order"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

I feel like this is deliberately timed... next month is when I would've hit £1000, having had one of these opened from basically when they introduced them. But it make this much more attractive for new account holders since you can max out the account in 6-7 months now.

Is it possible to close your account and open a new one?

Anyone who had these accounts with NatWest and RBS since launch day and funded the maximum monthly contribution would be due to reach £1000 by next month anyway.0
