I pay by manual transfers from my Lloyds current account rather than standing order. No issues with account or interest (in my experience).
You can pay £0 in a month. No issue (in my experience).
If you do want to pay in, it's £25 minimum. I have had payments less than £25 returned in the past, but don't know if they have an automatic check or if its a manual process which might get missed.
If you pay in less than £400 a month you cannot make the difference up in future months.3 -

I was trying to be helpful, and @Suffolk_lass was referring to a fixed term product and not a regular saver.
I did consider suggesting the ISA Board but thought that on balance the fixed term saver thread was the better option.1 -
Next month we will all be busy on the ISA board"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

TSB monthly saverI notice that the terms for this account state that any balance above £1500 receives an interest rate of 0%. It is not now advantageous to add a 13th payment after 12 calender months of adding the maximum of £125 each month2

As you will receive no interest on a thirteenth payment, no.
