Principality RS25 1.05% fixed - importantly you can close it with no loss of interest. So you can contribute to it until a better rate comes on the market, then close it.

    Dudley RS X 2 maturing

Apologies if already mentioned but has anyone received any maturing instructions for the RS issue 5 and RS.

Mine mature in a couple of weeks.

They do seem to have RS6 and another RS at 1% available.

Although not meeting criteria to be added to front page people may be interested to know Principality have released issue 25 of their RS paying 1.05% fixed with maximum £250 per month however no withdrawals allowed unless on closure.

The Principality allow multiple RS to be held as long as only 1 of each release is held so worth opening and sticking £20 a month into it (as I do with release 24) and see what interest rates do. Principality have previously issued different releases within a few months of each other so even if they release a higher paying issue in near future you can open that too.
Thank you for posting, probably wouldn’t have checked their site until later in the month when my Regular Saver 24 matures. Regular Saver 25 now open and funded. Hopefully Tipton BS will release a new regular saver before my current regular saver with them matures.

I've opened 3 new regular savers today.

    Principality 25
    Coventry BS
    TSB

I have been debating whether to continue with regular savers this year - so far I've decided to continue into January. I've already decided not to go below 1%. Oh for the giddy days of 6%!

Yes indeed. However, I will get 0.6% on the other £125.

I've currently got 15 regular savers on the go - I had a lot maturing in December, so I have too much cash just earning 0.6%

I have Cynergy paying 0.70% and Tesco soon to be paying 0.84% as well as Marcus 0.60%.
But you are right the regular savers are still paying better.

I did have a few Tesco savings accounts but cancelled them. I should take a look at Tesco and Cynergy, thanks.

Thanks for the heads-up; I hadn't noticed this change. This account now meets my minimum threshold. Opened.
