Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

Varies from person to person so they're clearly not having a blanket check, but to be honest worst case scenario for those who have had letters is some accounts had interest paid up and account closed so they've not really lost out as would never have had that interest if didn't open multiples in first place!castle96 said:Still no problems with multiple RSs with them??
I think some people on this forum are more bothered by others opening multiple accounts than the institutions so will wait and see what issue 6 T&C say.0 -
There's an argument to be made that advertising the loopholes will get them plugged quicker, but in reality it won't be solely because of these forums - plenty of other websites go into far more detail about how to make the most of these kinds of offers. Additionally even if something is in their T&Cs as being prohibited, if they don't make any effort to actually enforce them then it's kind of their fault IMO. It's fairly unlikely that the banks don't notice what customers are doing but I suspect in most cases it would cost more to implement a fix than it would to just let a handful of customers exploit things and have customer service deal with it as and when they notice specific instances of T&Cs being broken.SFindlay said:

It's an unusual system. The interest for the period since 30 June would not be due to be credited till the next interest date December 31st 2021 - unless the Online Saver is closed, which was done for me on the phone. I had phoned for an explanation.schiff said:Triodos
Regular Saver matured today, as expected it's become an online saver and I've withdrawn to my nominated account, but no interest has been added for the days since the last interest credit on 30 June. I'll check tomorrow.2 -
Just had my Coventry letter, was beginning to think I had escaped!1

I would have started with Gooners but perhaps Coventry apply different criteria.1

My HSBC RS matures today and it's disappeared from my home screen. I don't remember what happened on previous maturities. Is this the norm? TIA0
