@redagila, I can see the Monthly Saver alright and can fill in the application form whilst logged into online banking. Alas, that's as far as I can get.....

Worse than that, when I try again, it now says I already have "a current contract". Needless to say, the RS does not show in my list of accounts. CBA to continue fighting with the TSB systems.

What browser are you using? Chrome is really buggy with TSB's new website, but Edge just about works (albeit I have not opened an account recently, but to make any sort of payment I have to be in Edge not Chrome).

It was in Chrome. Can't try it in Edge now as I have this current contract thing (I feel like a mafiosi now, having a contract on TSB 🤣

To add insult to injury, they are now asking me to fund the Monthly Saver that doesn't show in my accounts. TSB, The Shambles Bank.

I have just opened one of these. Have searched this thread and cannot find a post mentioning it before. Apologies if incorrect.

Rate: 1% variable on balances above £50
    Maximum Investment: £250 per month
    Deposits: per CALENDAR month
Maximum Operating Balance: £250 per month

So, open and deposit £50 or more in March, and your next payment can be made on 1st April, leading to 13 deposits and possible £3250 over the 12 month term.

Access to funds within 12 months is on account closure only.

    See link for further details.

Thanks everyone who posted with my request for help with opening the TSB Regular Saver. I haven't  used the PC for a couple of days as having a break from the screen. As suggested I did clear my cookies  (don't know why I didn't think of this myself) & was able to open the account this morning without any problem.

A good find. Even so £16.23 interest over a year ...

  • I know right.

And even that is a maximum bearing in mind rate is variable.

I opened it for a specific purpose and not so much for the interest.
