  • Petty name calling doesn't do the forum any good. People exploited a loophole, the loophole is now correctly closed. Nothing worse than a kid who is bullied being told they're a "snitch" or similar for reporting it to the teacher. No-one is jealous and it was inevitable this would be spotted eventually. Maybe think before you post abusive comments because you're unhappy you were getting away with breaking the rules and got caught. Snitches get stitches, right?

Any loopholes will need to be discussed via pms in the future.  Too risky posting on here.

    How would you 'police' that?

You'd still get people asking questions on the forum -  and people answering them.

You'd also still get people running to the providers asking them about loopholes.

And you will still get people bragging about the exploitation of loopholes.

I nearly missed this one with the amount of information here, but glad I saw it and very pleased with customer service.

Used online chat to check eligibility of my account - instant connection and speedy answer.  Selected apply for account on line and within 10 minutes had phone call from local branch asking if I wanted form posted out, or would like telephone appointment to apply.  Chose telephone appointment and received phone call dead on time next day.
Edited:  referring to YBS 3.5% Loyalty Regular Saver.

For Reg savers which require a SO (BOS, Hal, Lloyds x 2 and TSB for the ones I have) which are a minimum amount, can I top these up by doing an online bank transfer?

I know some only allow 1 deposit per month (which would have been done with the SO) and I haven't needed to do so previously, but now due to dwindling rates...
