I nearly missed this one with the amount of information here, but glad I saw it and very pleased with customer service.
Used online chat to check eligibility of my account - instant connection and speedy answer. Selected apply for account on line and within 10 minutes had phone call from local branch asking if I wanted form posted out, or would like telephone appointment to apply. Chose telephone appointment and received phone call dead on time next day.
Edited: referring to YBS 3.5% Loyalty Regular Saver.2 -

For Reg savers which require a SO (BOS, Hal, Lloyds x 2 and TSB for the ones I have) which are a minimum amount, can I top these up by doing an online bank transfer?
I know some only allow 1 deposit per month (which would have been done with the SO) and I haven't needed to do so previously, but now due to dwindling rates...0 -

I never fund BOS, Hal, Lloyds x 2 by SO and yes more than 1 payment can be made per month, TSB "you can only pay in once a month by standing order"

So does that mean TSB only allow a SO? So I can't top it up afterwards?1 -

Yes, TSB only allows a SO Payment, not possible to make payment by internal transfer, you could try amending date on SO and see if second payment goes through

Monthly Savings Account | Savings | TSB Bank
"You must set up a monthly standing order between £25 and up to £250 from a TSB current account. You can only make one payment each month into your account."
