Was rather jealous of those who could get the 3.5% from YBS.
I have had numerous accounts/reg savers with YBS/Chelsea over the years but my last account was cashed in some months back. I got an email today reminding me of online access and I was curious to check why I appeared to be active in the eyes of YBS. So I logged in and to my surprise discovered that an account that I thought was closed a few years ago had an interest adjustment after I had taken final funds.
The adjustment was 1p and was sitting there with a link to the 3.5% loyalty saver!!
Look after the pennies and the pounds will earn 3.5% !!!!!.7 -
I too was amazed to discover I had an old account with YBS, with just £1 in. I think it came from a merger. Did Barnsley BS get taken over by YBS?0

This isn't quite right.
Below is what Coventry actually say.
Whether they enforce it is another matter:
This is a limited issue account and you can only have one version of a Regular Saver at a time.0 -
I was told on telephone you could have more than one as long as they were different issue numbers"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"1

Coventry
'This is a limited issue account and you can only have one version of a Regular Saver at a time.'
'This is a limited issue account and you can only have one [version of a] Regular Saver at a time.'
There is a difference.3
