  • Ipswich BS has today pulled its RS paying 1.20%, and replaced that with a new issue paying a fixed rate of 1.00%.  Postcode restrictions apply, as usual with the Ipswich.

    Looking at the website (https://www.ibs.co.uk/1-year-regular-saver) there appears to be no restriction on opening this account if you already have their other regular savers (or the most recent issue, which had a different maturity date), so hopefully this will become an account that can be opened with a new issue every few months.

    YBS Loyalty RS. 

    Sent application by post on Monday. Made a note on the form "please transfer £x from my savings account, or open with a nil balance and I will fund it on line". 

    Account now open with a nil balance.

    (I don't have a cheque book.)

    Where was this announced? Can't see any customer emails/letter from Skipton as yet. My account has 'A' after the name so wonder if it's the same account.
