Was  there a Virgin Coach Issue 2?
Yes. But none here have seen an Issue 1.

One of mine is just called "Home Buying Coach Regular Saver" and the other "Home Buying Coach Regular Saver 3"Is one of yours called "Home Buying Coach Regular Saver 2" ?

Online banking just says "Home Buying Coach Regular Saver" for the original one but the T&Cs it came with say it's Issue 2.

Are you not worried about only one account allowed?
At the end of the day they will just downgrade one of the accounts, or close one of them, or close both. But given how lax they are about the app I would be surprised if the rule was enforced.

Those who tried to open the Principality issue 24 today when the website was 'broken' got a message saying that they already held issue 23 so couldn't proceed. (See earlier posts from this morning).  You'd hope that VM would have the same system in place if they wanted.

We can just wait and see.
  • My second Virgin Coach is open and showing funded  and Principality Reg Issue 24 is open and funded so maybe there was a computer glitch when others applied. I was logged into my accounts for both applications

  • Maturity for mine  one  Maturity date 20 December 2021  and the other Maturity date 20 February 2022

  • You only need one app my other half is too busy with other things so I manage the app and you can log in with our different ids

It's incredibly difficult to know who/which account you are replying to when you don't use the 'quote' function whilst multiple parallel discussions are ongoing.

    Cheers

There's a, recent, mixture of both Principality 24 and the Virgin Home Buyer posts.

Even if it was all Virgin Home Buyer, without quoting, it's not clear, which of the many VHB posts, your posts relate to.

    Cheers again

The Principality First Home Steps account was one I always looked at... notice that from today if can be opened online. Its meant for ‘first time buyers’ (not sure how this is enforced as haven’t had a proper dig around).

    key points
£1500 max per month up to £25000 and tiered rates from 0.80% to 1.50% depending on balance.

Obviously there is more to the account, but heads up for those who may want to look further.
I had a look on their site but it says you need a branch appointment to open an account.
It's a separate product. Raises the question on if someone with the branch based one can also open the online one. Given up to 1.5% on 2x £25,000 with "up to 6 withdrawals a year" (as you will have two withdrawal allowances) which ain't bad.
Branch "First Home Steps Issue 2":
    -----
Online "First Home Steps Online" :

Still not able to sign up online. Internal error
