Thanks for the heads up. That would definitely be a reason for me not to use Sainsbury Bank.Fingerbobs said:colsten said:

I think the rule of thumb is Business if you are sending to a BS via their account with X Bank and your account number is the reference. If it's your own account in the receiving party it's Personal. That's my experience.Gers said:

When sending money to one of my own accounts, I always use Personal. In 100% of all cases I get a name mismatch (that I ignore) as I never use my actual account name but the naming convention I described earlier.schiff said:

Only when I pay an actual bill do I use Business. I now only proceed if I get a name match.1 -

In the 10 days from 25/12 to 3/1/21 there are only 3 banking days - 29/30/31 December. Preparations for the movement of money for the first of the month SOs will need some care, especially if the lying about waiting float is in Skipton. Santander quite correctly has the next SO date as 4/1 but Lloyds TSB HSBC are showing 1/1, though obviously they will operate them on the 4th.7

For the Virgin 'Home Buying Coach Regular Saver' app, it doesn't recognise my email address when I try and sign in with my existing Virgin Money login details. Do you have to create a separate account just for this app?0

It isn't linked to any Virgin accounts and isn't even after registering, it's a simple coaching app provided by Virgin.dekkard said:For the Virgin 'Home Buying Coach Regular Saver' app, it doesn't recognise my email address when I try and sign in with my existing Virgin Money login details.
