Have opened Saffron account. Just noticed email announcing launch arrived in my inbox a short while ago:
Savings launch - 12 Month Fixed Rate Members Regular Saver (Issue 8)
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Members Regular Saver. Our new Regular Saver has a rate of 1.50% Gross p.a./AER* and unlike many other savings accounts of this type; it allows you to make unlimited withdrawals, providing you maintain a minimum balance of £50. If you wish to build up a savings pot through regular, monthly deposits with the flexibility to withdraw funds if you need to, a Regular Savings or Immediate Access type account could suit your needs.
To qualify as a member for this account we require you to hold a savings or mortgage account with us for at least the past 12 months.

I've always kept a few quid in Saffron and now it's payed off, account all set up and funded in a few mins
Thanks so much for the heads up.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
I closed my savings account with Saffron in May 2020 after my last regular saver matured. I still have my log in details and was able to apply for the new Members regular saver despite having no current accounts with them. The regular saver is now open and up and running.3

Furness BS
This may be of interest if your RS is maturing shortly, from CS: "We will write out to you with what is on offer next 14 days before it is due to mature, our Head Office team are just finalising what this may be!" The exclamation mark suggests it could be an alternative to the 3-year version. Mine matures 22 Jan. 13 payments not allowed btw.5 -
