Yes, I'm labouring the point. It's interesting, to me at least, that some people are perplexed that borrowers are unwilling to pay more interest whilst valuing their own time & efforts at close to zero.

If you really appreciate this thread and SS2's hard work in maintaining the first few posts, then please show your appreciation by keeping the thread clear of irrelevant chit chat. If every post contains useful new information, then the thread is worth subscribing to. Currently, it isn't.
There gets to a point after a few posts where maybe etiquette should dictate that a new thread is created to discuss a specific issue.
It might also help identify which RS people are talking about as it's a struggle when the institution isn't mentioned in people's posts.
Especially when the thread descends, once again, into just chit (not even chit chat).
SS has repeatedly said that they do not mind but wow there is some drivel in here.

Anyone got a take on the time taken for an HSBC Regular to be visible and first payment taken? Application accepted 0900 18th Nov - and still no action.
