Apologies if I've missed this in the preceding pages, but are the payee details for the Gatehouse 'Easy Access Regular Saver Is 1', that resulted from the Regular Saver maturity, the same as those for the RS?
The account numbers have changed (ERG rather than REG at the start), but is the nine figure reference (beginning with the number 9, that I used for paying into the RS) the same?
From an earlier conversation with Gatehouse CS, when I was trying to get the T&C's from them (still not seen them BTW!) .....

"you don't get a nine figure reference number for the converted ERG account because unlike your other accounts, you didn't apply for it, it was generated with a conversion. Use the ERGnnnnnnnABC in the reference field instead of the 9 digits of the other accounts. Same sort code and account number."

    Hope this helps!

Does anyone know if Vernon credit bank transfers and calculate interest on same calendar day received or business day for their regular saver account? Had a quick look through their savings terms but this doesn't seem to be specified in there.
    Thanks!
Just checked my Vernon OLB and it is credited the same day as it leaves my current account.
They pay interest on the day of deposit, but not on the day of withdrawal.
I transferred from current account to the Vernon online regular saver yesterday - the deposit is credited in the account today, so unless they backdate the interest I think this account may be on business day basis instead.

I deposited to Melton RS  yesterday (Sunday 1st Dec). The money is credited and dated 2nd December.  For some reason it was marked in my spreadsheet as 'weekend friendly', but now thinking that this info could be wrong and this account doesn't pay interest on weekend deposits.  Does anyone know the correct answer?  I couldn't find it in t&c.

    HSBC Regular Saver
Anyone here have an HSBC regular saver? Do you know if I can cancel the auto-created standing order from my HSBC current account, and then fund the regular saver from an external account instead?

You can't cancel it, you can only change the amount you pay, starting from a minimum of £25

Not having a regular saver with HSBC currently, but had them in the past and always funded manually, never had a SO. They say minimum funding is £25 as per T&C's but when rates were rising and others were paying more I stopped funding it and let it run it's course to maturity. That part of the T&C's doesn't seem to be enforced.

I have a HSBC RS snd i fund it each month by transferring £250 to my HSBC current acc from another bank and then I do an internal transfer to transfer the funds to my RS
