What is special about Leeds Reg Saver issue 55, apart from being a little higher interest rate, it is still variable and reducing over time. Also doesn't it mature sooner than a current issue, 4 months sooner, hence won't get a full 2 years worth of interest and losing several months on the highest balance at the back end compared with issue 58.
I don't get it, TIA for enlightenment2 -

Also if someone has a chunk of funds in non-ISA accounts for now but will be wanting to close the account early anyway, e.g. they have a large purchase planned or they don't pay tax on savings interest this tax year but will next year so might decide to close the account at the end of the tax year and plonk it into ISAs, then the shortened term makes little difference to them so they might as well have the extra 0.15%.3 -
Can I pay a 13th payment into my Nationwide RS2, opened 21/12/23 - matures 21/12/24 - balance after this month's payment is £2,400, can I add another £200 on 1 Dec? I have looked and cannot see anything about a maximum balance, but maybe I am missing something

Am I correct that if I pay £1.01 from a debit card on the Natwest reward account I can select for 99p round up on top of this to be rounded up to my natwest digital regular saver in addition to the £150 a month max? I have done a trial paying £1.01 by Natwest debit to my Cambridge bs e saver which pays 3.2%. Presuming this works, Is there a better paying account to do this payment to that takes debit cards.0

RosieRooBear said:Thank you @Bridlington1 & @CuparLad for the link, opened and funded the Leeds RS55. I did notice that this issue is being reduced to 5.1% on 24th December 2024.
