For those wanting to grab issue 1 the application link appears to still be live for now:t1redmonkey said:Aldermore - looks like you can apply for the issue 2 now, but you're not permitted to hold it in addition to issue 1: https://www.aldermore.co.uk/savings-accounts/personal-savings-accounts/regular-saver-account/regular-saver-account/

Just applied, thanks for the link, almost missed it. We talk again in 12 months about the 13th payment as the T&C don't state a maximum balanceBridlington1 said:

Do you by any chance know if there is any hassle closing the Halifax RS prior to the 12 months renewal notification and then re-opening a new one.Speculator said:
I always renew it to Everyday saver, then log out and log back in to open a new regular saver. Takes 5 mins. You don't need to wait until the 21st.CricketLady said:Thanks Speculator, it is saying that if I don't want to renew I can open an Everyday Saver but would it do this instantly or would it roll over into this on the renewal date (21st?) Sorry to be dense!
Locking in the 5.5% for a further 12 months would be attractive at this moment.£6000 in 20230 -
Had no problems renewing my 4 month old Halifax RS then opening a new Halifax RS. I always use the renew technique.brucefan_2 said:

No hassle. Unlike with Lloyds and BoS, there's no 12 months rule with Halifax.brucefan_2 said:

Do you have to pay £25 into the Halifax RS every month or just when opening it?
