Hmmmm ... mine were/are just REG SAVER .... I wonder if that is the difference, as my old RS definitely "disappeared" and the money went into the Flex Saver, 2 days later.0

Mine was a PREF REG SAV. Handled the same way as REG SAV.0

colsten said:My first Coventry RS matured yesterday, when it turned into an Easy Saver. I closed it online yesterday, and money arrived in my current account this morning. Nice job, Coventry 👏Hi colsten, did they calculate your interest correctly?I thought it had been a 2.5% regular saver, so provided that you put the monthly max of £500 in at the earliest opportunity each month and put the max of £6000 in, then I thought it would have been about £81 (the mse calculator reckons £80.94), but mine was a lot lower then that in the £60's!!

The rate is variable and changed to 1.85% in May.
If yours has just matured, it will be mid £60s. Mine matures on 6 Oct and I am expecting about £67.82.
I got an email on 22 April saying mine would change on 6 May 2020.2 -

@Notepad_Phil , as @RG2015 says, the interest rate dropped to 1.85% for the last few months. I am satisfied that the £68.39 I got is the right amount of interest. It's dire times2

6th May? Got 66.66 at the weekend - 1p more than I'd calculated. ...0

Mine matures in January, so I'll be picking up even less 🤷♂️0

I would be interested to know when the folk who got around £68 opened their accounts. My first deposit was 1/10/19 and subsequent deposits were made on the FWDOTM as usual. I got £66.56, 3p more than expected. It takes a lot of days at 2.5% on £500 to make up that difference!
PS: I've twigged it since. I made 1/10 my first deposit date as that suited my routines (I aim to have as many RS deposits as possible on the FWDOTM). I missed out on the interest by not starting it earlier in September.
