Nottingham BS Branch Regular Saver is now NLA. The product page remains live for now but it has been removed from their website under their ``Compare Savings Accounts" section of their website. It has also been removed from Moneyfacts.
First time I've missed out on one of theirs for years and years

Special_Saver2 said:Hi Everybody,
I have just partially updated the first page of this thread. These are the changes that I have made so far.
- State Bank of India Regular Saver Account interest rate corrected to 5%
- Kroo Current Account (feeder account section) interest rate updated to 4.10% AER (4.02% gross) variable
- Chase Saver Account (feeder account section) interest rate updated to 3.85% AER (3.78% gross) variable from 8th October 2024
- Leeds BS Regular Saver updated to issue 56 paying 5.1% gross p.a. variable from June 2024 on up to £250 per month (maximum balance at the end of the term of £6,000, plus accrued interest credited to the account)
- Virgin Money Regular Saver Exclusive removed from the list as no longer available
- Coventry BS Sunny Day Saver added to the list paying 6.25% gross p.a. variable on up to £150 per month; there is also a monthly prize draw for account holders - see website for more details
- Post about the Chorley BS regular savings account noted but I have not added it to this list as it is not good enough to meet the requirements in post 1
- Penrith BS Regular Saver 200 added to the list paying 5% gross p.a. variable on up to £200 per month for 24 months (it is this long duration that qualifies it for inclusion on the list on page 1)
- Loughborough BS 5 Year Retirement Monthly Saver added paying 5.5% gross p.a. variable on up to £550 per month for 5 years for people aged 55 and over (I have had to create a new age-related category for this account), up to a maximum of £33,000 (lump sum payments are not allowed), you must never miss a monthly payment otherwise this account will be changed into a different account with a lower interest rate
- Nottingham BS Branch Regular Saver added paying 6% gross p.a. variable on up to £500 per month until 30th September 2025, can only be opened in branch
- I can see the post asking me to mention whether a 13th payment is possible and I am happy to include that information in my entries if the answer is clear; if you want details of old regular savers then check out the link in the first entry on the first page of this thread to an archive that is being maintained by Bridlington1
- HSBC Regular Saver Account interest rate increased to 7% gross p.a. fixed for new applicants
- Melton BS Regular Saver (Issue 6) added paying 6% gross p.a. variable on up to £200 per month until 30th September 2026I still need to finish the update - I cannot do it now as I need to go to bed. I will post again when the update is complete.SS2
For those new to this thread, the first few posts are regularly updated and are on the first page

Question about the AIB Regular Saver; is there any way to open this for non-NI residents?
Whilst it says it can be opened online and is open to all UK residents, there seems to be a requirement to have a Select Account or Current Account to have this regular saver, and I believe you need to go to a branch to open one of these accounts and all their branches are in Northern Ireland.
Just wondering if there are any workarounds, it doesn't seem like there is but thought I'd double check here just to be certain!0 -
Monmouthshire Building Society Maturity Options
I have 2 regular saver accounts maturing with Monmouthshire later this month and was wondering what is the best option to use, if I want to immediately transfer the funds to another bank or building society with minimal loss of interest?0 -

surreysaver said:Just transfer the money to your current account. I found they even do it the same day, even at weekends. Probably want to put the request in during the morning, thoughallegro120 said:Let it mature into Easy Saver and withdraw from there.0

Sorry if this has been answered, I could not spot it in the posts at the beginning of the month when it appeared, anyone know how long it takes for the Coventry sunny day saver to be available to deposit in to?
I opened the account yesterday and got the account details at the end. It does not though show in my online account and if I try to send money to it (from another bank), it fails the checks and I cant proceed. So I assume its not actually open yet, hence the question.0 -
Phone them up, they're very helpful
